About the Role
Make & prepare beverages (hot/cold) eg coffee, tea, hot chocolate, chai, etc
Greet customers in a friendly manner, take orders, register / POS & cash handling
Accept payments, issue receipts answer inquiries & provide helpful information to customers
Ensuring that customers are happy and communicate with other staff any additional orders, problems on the floor, etc
Priority is to serve food & drinks in timely manner & ensure not left on the pass too long before serving
Liase with staff to advise any wait times
Assist with serving & clearing of tables
Support front dishes & refilling drinks
Ensure adequate stock levels of cups, coffee, tea, milk & liaise for ordering
Clean coffee machine, milk jugs, etc & ensure area is kept clean
Casual 20 - 30 hrs a week
Requirements
Strong coffee-making skills
At least 2 years experience
Customer service skills
Adherance to local food safety standards
Stay up to date with health food & dietary trends (particularly drink trends)
Be aware of food intolerance & allergy requirements
Support customer & staff education on menu & item ingredients to suit dietary requirements
